How to setup iWeb
To publish a website for your main domain via FTP use the following details:
- Section Publishing
Site name: public_html
- Section FTP Server Settings
Server address: the server your account is on
User name: your cPanel username
Password: your cPanel password
Directory/Path: *blank*
Protocol: FTP
Port: 21
- Section Website URL
URL: http://(www.)maindomain.com
If you want to use SFTP connection instead, update Protocol to SFTP and Port to 21098. All other settings are the same:

- Section Publishing
Site name: folder for your addon in public_html (by default it is addondomain.com)
- Section FTP Server Settings
Server address: the server your account is on
User name: your cPanel username
Password: your cPanel password
Directory/Path: public_html/
Protocol: FTP
Port: 21
- Section Website URL
URL: http://(www.)addondomain.com
If you want to use SFTP connection instead, change Protocol to SFTP and Port to 21098. All other settings are the same:
