Updates To All cPanel Based Web Hosting
In our continuing efforts to provide the most robust, secure and stable hosting platform for our customers the following updates are being rolled out to all cPanel based web hosting servers:
-PHP 5.4.x
-MySQL 5.5.x
-cPanel 11.42.0.x
…along with updates to kernels and other supporting software.
During some of these updates, you may be unable to access cPanel and your websites may be temporarily unavailable. Server reboots will be required to apply updates to kernels.
Customers should ensure their software such as Joomla or WordPress is upgraded to the latest version to ensure compatibility issues are minimized and as good practice to ensure exploits and security issues are patched. Those who have installed software via Softaculous can one-click upgrade their software directly from within cPanel.
