How to create FTP account
FTP account is used to upload and manage files of your hosting account or websites. The main goal of creating FTP account is to restrict access via FTP to specific directory, not providing with the full cPanel access.
To create FTP account do the following log in to your cPanel > go to section Files > FTP Accounts
Login: username of the new FTP account
Password: password for this FTP account
Directory: auto-filled by default – public_html/login. You can change it to the required one.
Quota: disk space quota for the FTP account
Once done, click on Create FTP account
