Steps to Upgrade from Ubuntu 13.10 to 14.04 LTS:

Step 1 : :Click on the Software Updater

Click the Superkey (Windows key) to launch the Dash and search for Update Manager.

Step 2 : Now Check for updates

Click the Check button to check for new Ubuntu Version updates. If there are any updates available to install, use the Updates button to complete the first update then press the Upgrade button.

Step 3 : Install the upgrade

A message box will appear informing you of the availability of the new release. Click Upgrade and follow the on-screen instructions.
